Triston apps were crowned the winner of the top chef season 22. Houston Star impressed judges with his extraordinary culinary skills and flavors, competing against the other two finalists, Bailey Sulivan and Shui Wang.
Apps served four-cures food for its final challenge, which not only had the best taste, but also a deep root. The finale episode of the reality show also marked the return of chef judges from the previous season, which joined the contestants as a suic chef.
Other guest judges also included Richard Blaise and Gregory Goudate. In addition, the last dish of the apps had Ephro-Caribbean roots.
Who is the Triston app?
Triston apps, born in Trinidad, went to win the 22nd season of Bravo’s top chef. He developed interest in cooking from his childhood days, as he spent most of his time traveling to the world with his mother, which is in the army. Apps are known to completely immerse the food culture of countries he travels.
Additionally, the winner of the reality TV show earned his degree in Charlotte, New York from Johnson & Wales in Pak Arts and Food and Beverage Industry Management.
Before competing in the top chef, apps participated in the ABC’s Taste in 2014. Celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelson, who was also part of the 1024 show, became Triston’s mentor, on and off screen.
Meanwhile, after his win over the top chef, apps dedicated their victory to their late father. He said, “I did not do it for me; I did it for so many people.”
He said, “Somebody trusted me on his death,” mentioned passing through his father, while chefs were competing in the show. After the sad news, the Triston apps had almost made up his mind to quit the competition. However, he stopped back and made history.
