After the start of her Bollywood in ‘Baby John’, Kirti Suresh returned to Tamil cinema with her upcoming bizarre action-comedy ‘Revolver Rita’ set to hit theaters in August.

After making her Bollywood debut with ‘Baby John’, Kerthi Suresh is returning to the big screen with his next Tamil outing. A bizarre action-comedy film ‘Revolver Rita’ has been slated for release on August 27, 2025.
Kerthi Suresh shared a new poster on X, as well as the release date, the caption, “Rita is ready to roll Babini #Revolverrita from 27 August (SIC) from 27 August (SIC).”

The actor also released a new promo video with the release date, offering a secret in the film’s eccentric tone and its colorful characters.

The teaser, which fell on October 17, 2024, showed Suresh in full action mode in full action mode, pointing into a shift from her recent roles, pointing comic timing. Directed by JK Chandru, ‘Revolver Rita’ has promised a new form and a brilliant performance by the National Award winning actor.
The film also stars Radica Sarathkumar, Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, Radin Kingsley, Super Subbarayan and John Vijay. It is manufactured by Sudan Sundaram and Jagdish Palanisamy under the Passion Studio banner. The technical crew includes Shaun Rolden on Music, Dinesh Krishnan B handling cinematography, and editing by Praveen KL.

Meanwhile, Karthi was last seen in his Hindi film ‘Baby John’ with Varun Dhawan. In 2024, she also appeared in the Tamil film ‘Raghu Thiha’. Her upcoming projects include her OTT debut with ‘Akka’, Radhika Apte in Ek Yash Raj Films Production, and a film called ‘Kannvedi’ directed by Ganesh Raj.
