Huawei has launched its next generation of Pura 80 series – they 1 ”sensors, more processing power, big battery, better satellite communication and more. Note. Note. Note that there are four new models and we will cover the first three, the ultra model has been discussed in a separate post.
Huawei Pura 80 is the smallest in the family with a flat 6.6 “display (1,256 x 2,760px). By advancing the battery technology, this phone gives a capacity of 5,600mAh. It is with 66W fast wired and 50W fast wireless charging.

Huawei does not say what the chipset is used in the Pura 80 series, only claiming that the Arch engine in Pro and Pro+ makes them 36% faster than its predecessors. Vanilla and Pro models have 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage. The Pro+ has 16 GB RAM and instead offering only 512 GB and 1 TB, leaves 256 GB storage variants.

The camera setup is the place where it becomes good. Vanilla Pura 80 has a variable f/1.4-f/4.0 aperture and 50MP main with OIS (sensor size unknown). There is also a 12MP periscope with 5.5x zoom/125 mm focal length and f/3.4 lens with OIS. Apart from this, there are a 13MP ultra-wide camera (13 mm) and 1.5MP multi-channel spectrum sensors on the back. Huawei has upgraded the satellite messaging capabilities of Pura phone. Pura 80 and 80 Pro supports the Beidou Nakshatra – they can send and receive messages, but they can also send photos! Bidou system can also send news and alerts in terms of emergency.

The phone has been rated IP68 for high -temperature water jets and IP68 for IP69.
