Akshay Kumar Sir C in Kesari Chapter 2. Shankaran played the role of Nair. He was a lawyer who fought against the British and General Dyer on a cruel massacre. Ananya Pandey played the role of a female lawyer Dillit Gill, who plays an important role in getting Nair to go against the British. His acting skills were actually appreciated in the film, and can be called one of his best performances.
R Madhavan played the role of Neville McKinley, who was a lawyer, who stood with General Dyer and Sir C. Fought against Shankaran Nair. Although he lost the matter, his portrayal is quite strong.
Kesari chapter 2’s global dramatic run
Supported by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, Kesari Chapter 2 gave a positive reception among the audience, helping it to record an encouraging run at the box office. Released on April 18, the film terminated its global box office journey on the Gross figure of Rs 142 crore.
Out of this, Rs 108.50 crore (pure of Rs 90.25 crore) came from the Indian markets, while the international regions contributed about 3.9 million USD, which is gross of Rs 33.50 crore according to the Indian currency.
