The new Macos Tahoe 26 is part of Apple’s push for an integrated UI, but some MAC owners will not experience it because Taho leaves support for some Intel-Intelled Mac. And while some Intel-Intelled Mac will get taho, this is the last MACOS version they will receive.
When McCos Seven was unveiled last year, it left support for the 2018 MacBook Air, but was still able to update 2020 (with 10th gene Itel CPU). Come next year, only Apple Silicon Mac will be updated.
Above is the list in which Mac 26 is being updated-all apple silicon Mac, and some intel-run-in. But Apple’s strange nomenclature plan requires some explanation as it can be difficult to find out which model is.

Let’s try to clean things-2020 MacBook Air cannot be updated with Intel CPU, only apple-operated aerms get taho. Intel-in-operated Mac Minis also lost support (the final was a 2018 model, since 2020 they use Apple M chips). IMAC Pro (which never found apple silicon refresh) is also lagging behind on Seven. However, IMAC (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020) can be updated in Taho with 10th gene core i5, i7 and i9.

Note that when they no longer receive major OS updates, Intel-Intelled Mac will still get security patch for three more years on Taho. This will give users more time to update your computer.
Apple is normally moving away from X86. Next year’s Macos 27 will still include Rosetta 2 – this is the translation system that runs X86 software on Apple’s new ARM processor. Moving forward, the plan is to keep Rosetta as a compatibility layer for a liga video game, but Apple is encouraging developers to infection in hand for their MAC software.
