Dude, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamita Baiju in lead roles, is all set to hit OTT after its theatrical run. The film is the story of Agan and his cousin Kural. Having shared a close relationship since childhood, Kural proposes to Agan, but she rejects him. Years later, Agan realizes his feelings for her and goes to her father (his uncle) to ask for her hand in marriage.
However, things take an unexpected turn when Kural realizes that she is in love with Pari and is pregnant with his child. Since they are from different castes, he fears that his father might harm them. For the couple’s safety, Agan enters into a sham marriage with Kural, and plans to help them escape.
Does the pair succeed in escaping in time and what effect it has on everyone’s lives forms the crux of the story.
