Lokesh Kanagaraj’s much awaited film, ‘Coolie’, starring Rajinikanth, is just 100 days away from its grand release on August 14, 2025. To mark the milestone, the manufacturers unveiled a new promo to declare banger music and an upside -down count.

Production House Sun Pictures shared a glimpse on social media with caption: “Arangam Adirutum, Whistle Perkkatum! #Cooliein100days (SIC).” Rajinikanth-Starr has been designed for a possible box office clash with ‘War 2’, starring Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR, although the release date of ‘War 2’ has not been officially confirmed yet.

This glimpse creates promotion with the backshots of lead artists including Saubin Shahir, Upendra Rao, Nagarjuna Akini and Satyaraj, before it ends at a powerful moment with Rajinikanth’s whistle. The manufacturers first released a poster characterized by Rajinikanth Whisling, which now fans believe that the film would have a prestigious moment.

The score of Anirudh Ravichender begins with the same song shown in the caption and ends with the “Cool Power House”, allegedly the title of the song. With just 100 days to go, fans are awaited a complete album, especially ‘Master’, ‘Vikram’ and ‘Leo’ considering the chartbuster success of Lokesh and Anirudh’s previous collaborations.

Meanwhile, ‘Coolie’ is asked to roam around gold smuggling and see Rajinikanth playing a character called Devta. The film stars a star-stad cast including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Saubin Shahir, Satyaraj, Shruti Haasan and Reba Monica John.

Additionally, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is expected to make a cameo appearance. Shooting of the film wrapped in March, and it is currently in post-production.

The technical crew of ‘Coolie’, built on the budget on a large scale, features cinematographer Girish Gangadharan and Editor Philomin Raj.
