Vedang Raina is all set to work with Alia Bhatt in the film Jigra. It is reported that the film revolves around their brother-sister relationship. Fans are extremely excited to see what this action thriller has in store for them. Recently, Vedang Raina revealed that Alia is the complete opposite of him as an actor. He also shared his playlist for Jigra which had a song by Ranbir Kapoor from Rockstar.
In a recent interview with GQ India, Vedang Raina was asked how his acting process is different from his co-star Alia Bhatt in Zirgra. In response, he said, “She is the complete opposite of me as an actor, and honestly, it’s very confusing!”
Recalling his time on the sets, Vedang said, “I come well prepared, set the mood with my playlist and sit in a corner and immerse myself in the scene. Then, Alia comes in, and dhamaka! She rocks in the first take, and I am left stunned.”
The Archies actor said that Alia gets into the skin of her character very quickly. He also praised Alia for her very precise portrayal. Vedang said that he has learnt a lot from Alia.
When asked if he has learnt anything special from her, Vedang praised her for her discipline. He said, “When you work with her, you realise how comfortable she is with you as a co-star.” Vedang said that Alia helps her co-stars to improve their performance in a scene.
He also praised her for the way she treated the crew well. Vedang said that everyone wanted to work with her, not only because of her talent but also because she was a nice person.
Music is a big part of Vedang’s life and he creates playlists for his characters in films. For Jigra, he created a playlist that outlines the journey of his character in the film. During the same conversation, he revealed that his playlist includes The Beatles, Ranbir Kapoor’s song The Dichotomy of Fame from Rockstar, Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead, Kuchh Ankahi by Agni, jazz and works by Snarky Puppy and Hiatas Kaiyote.
