Shrek 5: Zendya Shrek has joined the artists of 5. The film also stars Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy.
Hollywood Acor Zendya has joined the artists of ‘Shrek 5’. She is the latest addition to the fifth installment of the animated fantasy franchise where she plays Shrek (Mike Myers) and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) daughter.
On December 23, 2026, ‘Shrek 5’ will be a hit in theaters. Meanwhile, Eddie Murphy will resume his role as a donkey in the new film. The manufacturers ignored a new teaser, which takes a first look at Zandya’s character below.

Zendaya has been a long -standing fan. In August 2017, the actor tweeted, “I often see Shrek in my adulthood.” After the announcement of her casting, Shrek’s official Instagram handle re -posted her old tweet, stating, “It is well aged.”
In July last year, Dreamworks Animation announced that ‘Shrek 5’ would be released in July 2026, with original artists withdrawn. The film will now be released on Christmas.
‘Shrek 5’ will be directed by Walt Dohren. He served as a writer and artist on ‘Shrek 2’ and ‘Shrek The Third’ and was the head of the story on ‘Shrek Forever after’. Brad Abbalson will co-direction the film with Dohm.
Apart from Shrek 5, Zendya has an impressive line-up of upcoming projects including ‘Dune: Messiah’, ‘Euphoria’ season 3 and Christopher Nolan’s ‘The’ Odyssi.
