Talking about how difficult it is to reveal all his music to his 5-year-old son, the songs he does reveal are highly criticized. He said, “I don’t want to make her listen to (my songs) because, obviously, there’s swearing and things in it, concepts (that) are a little adult. She likes my music, and she definitely gives me an opinion.”
Delving deeper into her first child’s reactions to her songs, she shared some of her most memorable reactions, “She does this thing where she gets a thumbs up, a thumbs down, a thumbs sideways, and if you get a thumbs up and a thumbs sideways, that means it’s great.”
As for how she rated her upcoming album, Konacol, the 33-year-old talked about her harsh review, “She gave me a double thumbs up for some of the songs, and was like a side one for one or two that, I think, she wasn’t really into.”
Her daughter with supermodel Gigi Hadid’s music taste is nonetheless impeccable, as she revealed her top artists: "He’s in TWICE, he’s in BLACKPINK. If I’m honest, this was a big reason why I did this feature with Jisoo. My daughter is a big fan and I wanted to stay calm. I got some good dad points for this."
He and his ex-girlfriend are now co-parenting their child, whom they welcomed on September 19, 2020.
