Comedian Zakir Khan recently shared a funny story about meeting BTS in Korea. He confessed to feeling the popularity of the K-Pop icon much later.

Comedian Zakir Khan recently narrated a unique incident when he met BTS members without recognizing him. He recalled that once during a world tour for his stand-up special in South Korea, he was in the same room as BTS members.
Khan in an interview with India Today’s sister Channel, LallantopSaid, “I once happened to go to Korea, and there is a very famous band called BTS. I knew that there is a band called BTS and I also know that they are famous. And coincidentally, I went there for a program to interview a very big celebrity and the band was also to meet the same person.”
“Because I was late, I was in the last batch with those members of the band. So I asked one of the members, ‘Who are you and where are you from’, and they told me that they are from BTS. I felt that the Korean organizing team called a back team. I was completely unaware of the fact that they were famous people.
The South Korean music band includes Jin, Suga, J-Hop, RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. Although K-Pop musicians have been active since 2010, they temporarily took a break as their members listed for compulsory military training. After completing the military service, members are now chasing single career. While V, Jungkuk, Jimin and RM are live and interacted with fans, Jin and J-Hop sold show-out shows in Tokyo and Berlin.
The popularity of BTS has led to his massive fan base, named Sena. Indian fans of BTS also call themselves the Indian Army. The Khan was opposite to the general publicity on BTS among Indian youth, accepting the inability to identify the South Korean band.
Khan was last seen in the show ‘Pharza Mushaira’, which was streaming on prime videos. His last stand-up was a special ‘Delulu Express’, which also streamped on prime videos.
