Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married on June 23. Recently, Zaheer’s mother expressed her love for her daughter-in-law. She said that Sonakshi’s heart is ‘real gold’.

In an interview Galata IndiaZaheer Iqbal and Sonakshi Sinha talked about their marriage. During the interview, the couple was shocked by an audio clip of Zaheer’s mother, in which she expressed her feelings about Sonakshi.

Praising their daughter-in-law, Zaheer’s parents said, “Just wanted to let you know how happy and blessed we are to have you as our daughter now. Seeing you and Zaheer so happy together makes us feel that you are truly made for each other. Your hearts are just ‘real gold’. You have given us so much love and respect and I can’t think of anyone better for Zaheer. God bless you both, love you, take care, always be happy.”

During the same interview, Zaheer’s sister Sanam Ratanshi also sent her message to Sonakshi. I still remember the first time I met you. Aarya was probably a few weeks old and Zaheer called me to ask if he could bring a friend home. I saw sparks everywhere and my brother tried hard to convince me that ‘you are just good friends’.”

She further added, “I’m so glad I met you guys and fell in love. I couldn’t have asked for a better addition to my family. We love you so much.”

Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on June 23 at Sonakshi’s apartment in Bandra, seven years after they met on the same day. The couple had a civil wedding followed by a grand reception at Bastian in Mumbai.
