Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal starrer action film ‘Yudhra’ did well at the box office. However, its collections saw a huge drop on the second day.

According to Sascinlk, ‘Yudhra’ has earned Rs 1.50 crore on its second day, Saturday. SaconilcThis is a surprise because The film grossed Rs 4.50 crore on FridaySaturday was a partial holiday and today is a working day. Now the total collection of the film has reached Rs 6 crore.

One reason for the drop could be that the film was released on September 20, which was also National Cinema Day, and multiplex chains offered tickets for as low as Rs 99. This may have led to people buying more tickets. However, the drop on the second day is worrisome as it means that audiences are losing interest in the film. Yudhra has become Siddhant’s biggest opener till date.

India Today Digital’s review of the film said, “Yudhra It’s somewhere between an honest attempt and a missed opportunity. You try hard to like it but can’t fully get into the chaos that unfolds on screen.” It received 2.5 stars out of 5.

It is currently running in theaters.
