Tamil film Youth is performing well at the box office. Released on March 19, the coming-of-age drama started at Rs. 4 crores and then recorded a promising extended weekend of Rs. 200 million. The film continued to gain popularity on weekdays as well, when it collected Rs. Earning of Rs 8 crore was done from Monday to Thursday.
It sold its 8-day extended opening week at Rs. Earning 28 crores at Indian box office. It’s a solid addition to a film that doesn’t have any star faces. The best thing about the movie is its content! The film received a positive response among the audience, which helped it a lot. It proved to be another hit for Kollywood after Thai Kizhavi.
Furthermore, apart from the dubbed version of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, the film did not receive any significant competition in its home state. Since the Ranveer Singh starrer was not widely released in Tamil Nadu, Youth took the lead in its opening week.
