Apple is introducing a smart new battery monitoring feature for Apple Watch. This new feature will come up with the upcoming Watches 26 updates and inform users when their watch is consuming electricity faster than normal. With the notification, this feature will provide quick access to the battery-saving settings, allowing users to switch to low power mode or make other adjustments before getting out of the battery from the device.
As viewed by 9to5MAC, this new feature in Watches 26 works by analyzing the long -term use pattern of the user’s Apple Watch and comparing them with its current battery performance. If the clock suggests that the battery is growing much faster than the historical average – then, when it is usually close to 75 percent, it reaches 50 percent by 7 pm – it will send an active alert. This notification will reportly not only to flagged the discrepancy, but will also provide direct shortcuts to users to enable low power mode, which will help them expand the remaining charge until they can connect to a charger.
The report states that this feature would not rely on the generic benchmark; Instead, it learns how users usually use their device. This means that even small deviations – such as GPS use or poor cellular connectivity is increased – trigger alerts.
A uniform notification facility is also likely to come up with iOS 26.

This feature will use real-time sensor data to offer personal incentives during the fitness session and can even highlight milestones such as the fastest miles of the user. Watch fitness+ will send motivational phrases generated by trainers and if users prefer a cool workout then the voice can disable the reaction.
