Director Manjul Sinha, best known for the iconic television show Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, passed away on Tuesday night while holidaying with his family in Goa. He suffered a heart attack and collapsed and despite efforts he could not get medical help in time.
Producer Ashok Pandit confirmed the news to India Today Digital and shared, Manjul was an institution and his demise is a big loss to the industry. I started my TV career with him and worked under him for more than a decade. I have not yet recovered from this loss.
While his last rites were performed in Goa, the family plans to hold a prayer meeting in Mumbai soon for all his friends and colleagues to pay their last respects.
