Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has been re-released today on Friday, not in one or two but in 46 cities. Actually, the film directed by Ayan Mukherjee has also been re-released in the UK. According to recent reports, it is expected to take an impressive opening of Rs 3 crore, after selling 25,000 tickets to multiplex chains.

According to Sacnilk.com, an industry and trade tracking site, YJHD had originally taken a grand opening of Rs 19 crore at the ticket counter. Made on a budget of Rs 75 crore, the Dharma Productions film grossed Rs 318 crore globally, making it a legitimate blockbuster.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani follows the series of films that have been re-released recently, including films like Tumbbad, Karan Arjun, Rockstar, Laila Majnu, Kal Ho Na Ho and Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein.
