The South Indian film industry started the year with the release of Hanuman, starring Teja Sajja in the lead role. This superhero film rooted in Indian mythology was expertly crafted by the director Prashant Verma With its impeccable visuals, it marks the beginning of an ambitious cinematic universe.

Around the same time, Tamil cinema delivered one of the best films of the year with Maharaja. This year, Kannada film industry also made its mark with Bagheera directed by Dr. Suri.
Finally, as we enter the final months of 2024, South Indian director Sukumar, VetrimaranAnd Upendra delivered some of the most awaited releases of the year. Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 continues to dominate the box office, while Viduthalai Part 2 and UI remain strong contenders for cinematic excellence.
