2025 proved to be a disappointing year for Telugu cinema. As the year is about to end, here is a box office analysis of the top 10 highest grossing Telugu movies at the box office.
‘They Call Him OG’ starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role topped the charts and emerged as the highest grossing film of the year. The action drama directed by Sujeeth collected Rs. Earned more than. Rs 219 crore in India. 283 crores at the worldwide box office. Apart from OG, Pawan Kalyan had another release, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which could not impress the audience and proved to be a failure. However, it managed to make it to the top grossers of 2025.
Sankranti Vasthunam took the second position with earnings of Rs. Earning 250 crores worldwide. It was a big hit at the box office. Ram Charan and Shankar’s first collaboration, Game Changer, proved unsuccessful. The political action drama collected around Rs. Earned Rs. Earned 178 crores globally and secured third position. The fourth, fifth and sixth positions belong to Mirai, Kuber and Akhand 2 respectively. All these films were successful in earning a little more than Rs. 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
Daku Maharaj, Hit: The Third Case, and Thandel were successful at the box office with positive theatrical performances.
