The year 2024 was a blast, filled with a variety of Hindi projects that thoroughly entertained the audience. In particular, Party Animals was given a plethora of dance tracks that dominated playlists everywhere. From Vicky Kaushal’s Tauba Tauba to Tamannaah Bhatia’s Aaj Ki Raat and Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s Sher Khul Gaye, this year saw hit films one after the other.

Here at Pinkvilla, we are conducting a poll to determine the audience’s favorite dance number of 2024. Here’s your chance to make your favorite track a winner! Check out the list below and cast your vote.

1. Touba Touba (bad news)

Punjabi singer Karan Aujla made his debut in the Hindi film industry with the song Tauba Tauba from the film Bad News. Directed by Anand Tiwari, this energetic party number featured Aujla, Vicky Kaushal and Trupti Dimri. The infectious music and hook step choreographed by Bosco-Caesar took the internet by storm. Sung and written by Karan Aujla, with music produced by Yes Proof, the track quickly became a fan favourite.

2. Tonight (woman 2)

Next on the list is the popular track Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2, picturized on Tamannaah Bhatia. Thanks to Bhatia’s mesmerizing performance, this captivating dance number became the highlight of the film, making everyone’s hearts skip a beat. The song has become a party anthem with over 701 million views on YouTube. Written by Priya Saraiya, it features the voices of Madhubanti Bagchi and Divya Kumar with music by Sachin-Jigar.

3. I am new (woman 2)

Another party number from Stree 2, I Nai, is in line with the theme of the film, mixing comic elements with groovy beats. The chemistry of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor along with the comedy of Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi made this song a hit. Composed by Sachin-Jigar, this song has been sung by Pawan Singh, Simran Chaudhary, Divya Kumar and Sachin-Jigar. With lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and over 470 million views on YouTube, the track was a crowd pleaser.

4. The lions opened up (fighter)

The audience was overjoyed when Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone shared the screen in Fighter. Their electrifying dance number Sher Khul Gaye was a visual and musical delight. The dynamic song, which has garnered over 85 million views on YouTube, features the voices of Benny Dayal, Shilpa Rao, Vishal and Shekhar, who has also composed the music. Kumar’s lyrics and Bosco-Caesar’s choreography added to the song’s appeal.

5. Taras (Munjya)

Munjya’s song Taras was described as the “hottest song of the season” by its makers, and rightly so. Sharvari stole the show with her amazing dance moves and stunning black dress. Composed by Sachin-Jigar in the voices of Jasmine Sandlas and Sachin-Jigar, the song soon became a fan favourite. Written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, Taras has received over 158 million views on YouTube.

6. My beloved (That video of Vicky Vidya)

Vicky Vidya’s Woh Wala video Ke Mere Mehboob pleasantly surprised the audience. Trupti Dimri shows off her dance moves for the first time in this sensual yet trippy number. Sung by Shilpa Rao and Sachet Tandon and composed by Sachin-Jigar, the song has received over 136 million views. Priya Saraiya’s lyrics added depth to the track.

7. My beloved, my beloved (bad news)

Proving that old is gold, Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam was a recreated version of the iconic track from Duplicate. Featured in Bad News and starring Vicky Kaushal, Trupti Dimri and Ammy Virk, this refreshed version brings back the nostalgia with a modern twist. Originally composed by Anu Malik, the Lijo George-DJ Chetas recreation included additional lyrics by George. This song sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik was a hit.

8. Tilsami Arms (Hiramandi)

Sonakshi Sinha’s performance in Tilsmi Baahen was one of the standout moments in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. Her effortless grace and charm mesmerized the audience. The visual spectacle along with Sharmistha Chatterjee’s soulful singing and AM Turaz’s lyrics made this song unforgettable. Choreographed by Kriti Mahesh, the track was a visual and auditory delight.

9. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (Title Track)

The third installment of the beloved Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise has revamped its iconic title track. This time, global sensation Pitbull and Diljit Dosanjh join the track, giving it an international twist. Originally sung by Neeraj Sridhar, the song was recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and Pritam, with lyrics written by Dhruv Yogi and Sameer. The result was a new take on the classic.

Not to forget, Kartik Aryan’s effortless dance moves added an overall charm to the song by performing some really amazing dance moves. How can we forget his iconic moonwalk on a flight of stairs that left us awestruck and how.
