Yash’s Toxic postponed till June, Dhurandhar 2 to get a single release on March 19
Yash’s much-awaited film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grownups, was scheduled for a grand release on March 19. The film has now been postponed to June, and the makers have cited Middle East tensions as the reason.

It has now been postponed to June 4 due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
On Wednesday (March 4), Yash shared a statement from his production house and KVN Productions, announcing the reason for the film’s postponement. “However, the current uncertainty, particularly in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal of reaching and connecting with the widest possible audience,” the statement reads in part.

The decision came as hostilities intensified in West Asia, the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran, and Tehran retaliated with missile attacks on Israel and American bases in the Middle East.
The release of the film has now been rescheduled keeping in mind the interests of the production house and foreign business partners. The producers claimed that Fars Films, one of their distribution partners, advised them to reschedule the film. “We thank you for your understanding and patience and look forward to your continued love and support,” the producers wrote.

The first single of the film, DestructionIt was unveiled on 2 March. While the song was praised, fans were angry at the makers for not sharing the video. The news of Toxic’s postponement came at a time when the makers were preparing for a grand trailer launch in Bengaluru on March 8.

Toxic stars Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria in lead roles. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Adults Now it is going to be released on June 4.
