Kannada superstar Yash will not meet fans on his birthday this year. The actor announced the decision a day before his birthday, citing work commitments on his upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for AdultsWhich is going to be released in theaters on 19 March 2026.

In a note shared on social media on Wednesday, Yash addressed fans directly and acknowledged their long wait to meet them in person. He said that he had hoped to celebrate with them this year but decided to focus on completing the film in time for theatrical release.

His note read, “To my dearest fans, I am honestly deeply aware of how much you have been waiting to meet me for the past few years. Trust me, I am just as eager to see all of you. I really wanted to make it on my birthday this year, but I am completely engrossed in finishing the film to make sure it is ready for you in theaters on March 19, 2026. Because of this, I am now Will not be able to meet you in person (sic).”

The actor assured fans that the delay will be compensated in future. He added, “Even if we can’t make it happen right now, I promise you that we will make it happen. We will meet in a big way very soon. In the meantime, I will personally pay attention to all your wishes and cherish every bit of love you send me.”

Earlier on January 7, the actor was seen in Mumbai. Yash is going to celebrate his 40th birthday on 8th January. On this occasion, the teaser of his upcoming film Toxic will be released. Earlier, the makers unveiled a special poster which shows the superstar walking amidst thick smoke.
