Xiaomi kicked its 15th anniversary with two new smartphones – Xiaomi 15S Pro and Civi 5 Pro launch in China.

Xiaomi kicked its 15th anniversary with two new smartphones – Xiaomi 15S Pro and Civi 5 Pro launch in China. Both phones are already on sale and can be purchased through the company’s website. The 15S Pro can be seen as a refresh of the mid-year of Xiaomi 15 Pro, as the Xiaomi 16 chain is expected to introduce this decline, the next generation Snapdragon 8 Elite is rumored to be operated by the chipset. Interestingly, only the Pro version has received an upgrade, with no sign of standard or ultra model yet. For Civi 5 Pro, it succeeds last year’s Civi 4 Pro, or as known in India – Xiaomi 14 Civi. Along with two smartphones, Xiaomi has also expanded its tablet lineup with the launch of Pad 7 Ultra.
Xiaomi 15s Pro: Price and Key Glasses
The price of Xiaomi 15S Pro starts from CNY 5499, which translates for about 65,700 rupees. The device is available in two finish: a light blue/brown color and a carbon-fiber rear finish.
The Xiaomi 15S Pro has a 6.73-inch LTpo OLED display with 2K resolution and adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz. The screen supports up to 1,800 NITs of brightness in high brightness mode (HBM) and is preserved by Xiaomi’s Longjing Glass 2.0. Under the hood, it is powered by the new Xring O1 chipset built on the 3Nm process (N3E) of the TSMC, with two core at 3.90GHz in 10-core architecture, four at four 3.40GHz, two on 1.89GHz and two on 1.80GHz. The chipset has been added up to 16GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. For graphics needs, an immortal-G925 MC16 GPU is. In the software department, the phone runs Xiaomi’s Hyperos 2 in Android 15.
When it comes to the camera, Xiaomi 15S Pro OIS offers a 50-megapixel omnivision light Hunter 900 primary sensor, 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, IE, Samsung’s JN2 sensor and 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 with OIS and OIS with 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 telephot lens. At the front, there is a 32-megapixel camera for selfie and video calls.
Under the hood, Xiaomi 15S Pro packs a 6,100mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Other features include a USB 3.2 General 2 Type-C port, an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 5.4, dual stereo speakers and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It also comes with an X-Xis linear motor for Haptics, an IR blaster camera module, four microphones, LDAC and LHDC 5.0 support, and integrated within NFC. The phone weighs 216 grams and its thickness is 8.33 mm.
Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro: Price and Key Glasses
The price of Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro starts from CNY 2,999, which translates for about Rs 35,800. There are five color options on the offer: black, white, pink, purple and brown.
Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro has a 6.55-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It uses the C8 panel of TCL and provides a glow of up to 1,400 NITs in HBM. Like the 15s Pro, it also runs Hyperose 2 based on Android 15.
The Civi 5 Pro Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s is powered by a 4 processor and comes up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Graphics are controlled by Adreno 825 GPU.
In terms of optics, the Civi 5 Pro has a triple rear camera system, including a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and Samsung’s JN5 sensor using a 50-megapixel primary camera, IE, Omnivision’s Light Hunter 800 sensor, omnivision, and Samsung’s JN5 sensor. For selfie, there is a 50-megapixel front camera.
Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro has a 6,000mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and an IR blaster on the rear. The device also consists of dual stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint authentication, LDAC and LHDC 5.0 support, and an X-Xis linear motor for better haptics. It measures only 7.45 mm in thickness and weighs 184 grams.
