The Xiaomi 15 series is set to launch this year. Although the company has not revealed anything yet, there are a lot of rumors doing the rounds online. The most recent leak suggests that the series, including the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, will have a better battery and better camera than the previous models Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro.

Xiaomi 15 series: Battery and design leaked

Without revealing the exact details, Smart Pikachu said through a Chinese microblogging site, WeiboThis suggests that the Xiaomi 15 series will feature at least a 5,000mAh battery. This update, if true, will be an upgrade over its predecessors, as the Xiaomi 14 packs a 4,610mAh battery. The Xiaomi 14 Pro, on the other hand, packs a 4,880mAh battery.

According to reports, the upcoming Xiaomi 15 may have a similar size as the previous generation. The tipster suggested that the series may feature a thinner and lighter body made of new materials with stronger strength.

Xiaomi 15 series: Expected camera

The tipster also hints that the upcoming series may feature improvements in terms of cameras. According to the leak, the camera setup may include a new OmniVision sensor and a 50MP periscope sensor. Additionally, the Xiaomi 15 Pro was recently tipped to feature a 50MP sensor with 3x zoom similar to the Xiaomi 14 Pro.

Other Required Specifications

Rumor has it that the Xiaomi 15 series could be one of the first phones to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. The vanilla model of the Xiaomi 15 is expected to feature a 6.36-inch flat display just like its predecessor. The device is most likely to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. On the other hand, the Pro variant may also feature a 2K micro-curved display.

In another leak, a tipster, @TechHome100 revealed some more details. According to this leak, the Xiaomi 15 is expected to have a 1.5KLTPO small direct screen with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
