Xiaomi 14 Civi will be launched in India on June 12. This will be the first launch of the Civi series in India. The company has been targeting the Chinese market since 2021, but now the Xiaomi 14 Civi series will also debut in the Indian market. The 14 Civi is also set to join the company’s flagship phone series, which currently includes the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

The livestream of the launch will be available on Xiaomi India’s YouTube page. The launch of the Xiaomi 14 Civi will begin at 12 noon. The launch page is also going to start with a live countdown shown on the YouTube page.

Xiaomi 14 Civi: What to expect

In the teaser, Xiaomi has put special emphasis on the display of the 14 Civi. According to what we have learnt based on the post shared by Xiaomi, the 14 Civi will feature a quad-curved display. This device will be the first to feature such a display technology. The quad curved display on the phone features curved edges all around the screen, offering a seamless viewing experience with reduced bezels.

Given that the Xiaomi 14 Civi is likely a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, we can speculate on several key specifications and features. The phone is expected to feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Notably, the display can achieve a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and features 2160Hz PWM dimming, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The phone is expected to pack a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging and run Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14. Additional features may include an in-display fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, Hi-Res audio, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos support.

The teaser also confirms that the Xiaomi 14 Civi will use Leica-branded camera sensors, just like the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. As part of Xiaomi’s flagship lineup, the device is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Leica Summilux lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 50-megapixel 2X telephoto camera. A 32-megapixel front camera is expected for selfies.

Xiaomi India has also confirmed that the 14 Civi will be launched in India in three colours – Cruise Blue, Shadow Black, and Matcha Green.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

According to rumours, the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Civi could have a starting price of around Rs 43,000 in India. Tipster @yabhishekd has revealed in a post that apart from the standard variant of 8GB+128GB option, there will also be a second 12GB+512GB variant.
