Xiaomi has launched its first Civi-series phone in India and it is called the Xiaomi 14 Civi. As the name suggests, the smartphone joins the company’s existing flagship series, which currently consists of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The new 14 Civi is the most affordable addition to the series and is also the most affordable smartphone with Leica cameras in India. Xiaomi 14 Civi: Price in India

The Xiaomi 14 Civi has been launched in two variants: a base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, priced at Rs 42,999, and a top model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, priced at Rs 50,999.

The Civi 14 will be available for purchase on Flipkart and Mi.com starting June 20. Xiaomi has announced several launch offers, including a Rs 3,000 discount for ICICI Bank cardholders. Additionally, buyers will get 3 months of YouTube Premium subscription, 100GB Google One cloud storage for 6 months, and complimentary Xiaomi Priority Club membership.

Xiaomi 14 Civi: Top Specifications

Display: It features a 6.55-inch 1.5K quad curved AMOLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. It offers 3,000nits of peak brightness, support for 68 billion colours, and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The phone’s display supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Processor: Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Generation 3 chipset. The chipset is built on a 4nm power-efficient manufacturing process. The CPU has 8 cores. 1 prime core that can be clocked up to 3.0GHz, 4 performance cores that can be clocked up to 2.8GHz, and 3 efficiency cores that can be clocked up to 2.0GHz. The processor is paired with Qualcomm Adreno GPU.

Storage and RAM: The phone comes in two storage and RAM options. The base variant has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The top variant has 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone supports LPDDR5X 8533Mbps RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

rear camera: It has a triple camera setup at the back that uses three Leica sensors. The main camera is the Light Hunter 800 image sensor with a 50-megapixel camera, f/1.63 aperture, 2.0μm 4-in-1 Super Pixel, 25mm equivalent focal length and optical image stabilization (OIS).

The second is a 50-megapixel Leica telephoto camera, with f/1.98 aperture, 50mm classic portrait focal length and support for 2x zoom.

Selfie Camera: On the front, it has a dual camera setup for selfies. The Xiaomi 14 Civi is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is also much lighter than the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra, weighing just 177 grams and measuring 72.7mm thick.

Photography continues to be a great feature of the Xiaomi 14 Civi, continuing the trend set by the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra. It uses Leica lenses, including the signature Summilux lens. The triple camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera with a Light Hunter 800 image sensor, optical image stabilization (OIS), and 25mm equivalent focal length. The second camera is a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a 50mm portrait focal length and 2x zoom. The third is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view (FOV) and 15mm equivalent focal length. The rear cameras support HDR 4K recording at 30 fps and 4K video recording at 24/30/60 fps.
