Oppo has introduced its latest Ultra-Pramium smartphone The Find X8 Ultra in global markets. Located as the new flagship of the brand, the device brings a host of top-end features including a powerful camera system, a large battery, the latest Snapdragon 8 elite processor and more of Qualcomm. However, Oppo confirmed that the phone will not be released in India for now, and the reason for this is also unknown.
With Find X8 Ultra, Oppo is targeting rivals such as Xiaomi and Vivo in the ongoing race to dominate the camera-centric flagship space. While most of the players in this segment are going for heavy designs to pack in large sensors and batteries, Oppo is taking slightly different views-offering flagship-grade hardware in unknown slimmer and lighter frames. Here is a look at the glasses and characteristics of the new Oppo phone.

Find the X8 Ultra Sports 6.82-inch 2k AMOLED LTPO display, 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600NITs with a summit of 1,600nits with dolby vision support. Despite this large screen and 6,100mAh battery, Find X8 Ultra manages to keep its profile under 9 mm thick and weighs about 226 grams.
A major attraction of the device is its rear camera setup. Find X8 Ultra has a total of four cameras. These include 50-megapixel Sony Lyt-900 main sensors, 50-megapixel ultravide camera with OIS, 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom, 50-megapixel periscope lens with 6X zoom and 2-megapixel spectral sensor. For selfie and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel front camera.
In terms of performance, the phone runs on Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset and is offered in configuration with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs Coloros 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.
Oppo has also introduced some design changes, including a new adaptable shortcut button that replaces the general alert slider. Haptic feedback and built-in zoom control also have a physical shutter button.
On the battery front, the Find X8 Ultra is equipped with a huge 6,100mAh unit. It supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and even provides 10W reverse wireless charging. Oppo claims that the phone is designed to last, with IP68 and IP 69 ratings for dust and water protection, SGS is accompanied by five-satara drop resistance certification.
