The cat is out of the bag. Like Apple’s large WWDC 2025 schemes have been abolished. Spoiler Alert: They are probably not as big as you have imagined. It may be right that Apple was trying to pull out of his hat last year, but since not, the jury is out, if the cupertino AI missed the bus. However, it is becoming more and more pronounced each day – as we arrive fast at the Worldwide Developers Conference on 9 June – that WWDC 2025 will have a large -scale mute affair.

You can expect this from Apple to make a gala show, but it can be more style and less substance this year, especially compared to the previous two versions where it made several large blockbuster announcements. Apple demoned the Vision Pro Headset in WWDC 2023, while in WWDC 2024, it introduced Apple Intelligence. The WWDC 2025 Bloomberg will be on the relatively “small scale” according to reporter Mark Gurman, and while major changes are certainly in work, Apple’s current priority bends towards practicality rather than long claims and promises to win some credibility after failing for last year.

The largest headline will be around Grabers Apple’s marquee software that strengthens its iphones, iPads, Macs, Apple watches and Apple TVs. In particular, for the iPhone, iPad, and MAC, Apple is set to switch to a year-based format with iOS 26 (and iPados 26) and MACOS 26 from its current naming scheme, which is expected to roll out for this decline for some time in September. After natural places in California, the McOS 26 will be allegedly named after Lake Taho, in line with the modern-day tradition to name its MAC software. Not only the name is also set to give apple a view-one view of its software-iPhone and MAC, align it with elements such as more transparent visionos. Internal, it is called “Sollerium”.

Gurman said, “Expect the company’s marketing team to provide a highly polished main speech with a legend on the value of its ecosystem integration, design and system security.”

Apple Intelligence is expected to make a guest appearance in WWDC 2025 on a large scale. Therefore, there is some AI to look forward. For the beginning, Apple is asked to open some of its Foundation Model-3 B, which is capable of learning on-device machine-so that they can design and include features within their apps to work with some localized aspects of Apple Intelligence. Internal, Apple is allegedly testing powerful model as reportedly 150B, the company’s interiors also have access to a chatbot – based on the same model – which is clearly performing on equal value with Openai. All this occurs within its dedicated sandbox of the company, called Playground, which has no words and when they will roll out to the public.

In addition, Apple is expected to roll out an underlying rich text editor for Swiftui, while giving some ideas to the developers when Swift Assist, a program that uses AI to complete and improve the code, will be available for prime time.
