Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 2 States is one of the most famous films of Bollywood. The story set against an intercultural set-up along with its timeless music has carved a special place in the hearts of fans. Singham Again recently shocked everyone when it revealed that the special dream wedding sequence in the film was actually shot in Mud Island.

In a recent conversation with Mashable India, Arjun Kapoor talked about the iconic dream wedding sequence in 2 States. He recalled that after the release of the film, people used to come to him and ask where exactly the temple was. He then revealed that it was not a real temple, but a special set built in Mud Island.

Singham Again remembers 4 days of shooting on location. Naming director Abhishek Varman, cinematographer Binod Pradhan and production designer Amrita Mahal, he highlighted that it is amazing to bring cinema to life with the right technicians.

She further admitted that the music of the film added to the mystery and aura of that dreamy wedding. He quipped, “This dream wedding was taking place in Madh Island.”

Arjun further said that the song Mast Magan has been passed down for generations and the film is aging well. He said that a lot of people associated with the film, especially engineering students and the IIM crowd, had met their peers in college.

The actor emphasized the difficulties of relationships, not necessarily due to family circumstances, but also due to their long-distance nature and financial implications. The Ishaqzaade actor also admitted that the film was released at a time when startup and corporate culture was growing rapidly and it was liked by a lot of people.

Arjun credits Varman for seeing him as “Geek Krish”, saying that before 2 States his career was going in a direction in which he did intense, deep-rooted and unsettling films. He also shared that he could relate to the character the most at that time and that apart from the education in the film, he also added a lot to the jokes.

Arjun Kapoor will soon be seen in No Entry 2.
