Wipro promoter entities stake 1.72% of Rs 4,675 crore

According to the exchange data, about 18.05 million shares of New Delhi, Wipro, 1.72 per cent stake, 1.72 per cent, were transferred to the promoter group entities through open market transactions on Wednesday.

Following the sale of the stock, Wipro stocks have been praised 1.61 per cent, which is Rs 258.95 on the BSE. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the stock was down 1.62 per cent on 259 per piece.

According to the data of Block Deal on the NSE, the Promoter Entity Azim Premji Trust sold a total of 18.05 crore equity shares or 1.72 % of the total equity shares in WIPRO in Bengaluru. The transaction worth Rs 4,674.77 crore was operated at an average price of Rs 258.99 per share.

Meanwhile, Prasim traders and Z ASH Merchants (part of Wipro’s promoter group) bought this share at the same price.

On Monday, the Azim Premji Trust flod to the Load of 20.23 million equity shares or 1.93 percent of the Load in Wipro. The transaction is about Rs 5,057 crore while Premji invests through his arms Prasim Trading and Investment Company, Hashm traders and Prasim traders have bought the shares.

      In November last year, PremjiI invested by Prasim Trading and Investment Company, with Wipro Rs. ,,4.49 crore shares or 1.6 per cent stake in 7577 crore, while Prasim and Zesh traders closed the same number of shares in the IT company.
