Some of the best and most awaited films in the Telugu film industry are going to hit the silver screen soon. While on one hand there is Yash’s multi-starrer film Toxic, on the other hand Prabhas’ upcoming film The Raja Saheb is also going to be a topic of discussion among cine lovers. There is news that Yash’s Toxic is getting delayed.
Could Yash’s ‘Toxic’ be delayed to avoid clash with Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’?
Interestingly, it seems like both these high octane projects have the same release date. While the makers of Toxic had earlier announced its release date as April 10, 2025, recently, the makers of The Raja Saab too revealed its release date, and locked the same day for a theatrical release.
Well, two such films which are equally popular and directed by popular superstars are all set for an unprecedented clash at the box office. Amidst all this, several rumours suggest that it is the makers of Toxic who might delay the release of the film in such a case, to avoid a clash with Prabhas’ film.
Yash starrer Toxic’s release reportedly rescheduled amid reports of its massive release
Earlier, according to an exclusive input by Pinkvilla, Yash starrer Toxic had planned to shift its release date owing to the film’s massive production and cast. As per the report, the makers wanted to ensure that such a grand project gets a theatrical release equal to the hard work and talented cast that is a part of the film.
In addition, the shooting schedules of all the cast members also needed to align at the same time, because in the end, Toxic will emerge as a big-budget feature film at its core. Therefore, preparations for it have inevitably been longer than expected plans.
About the star cast of Toxic
The buzz about the cast of Yash’s Toxic has been going on for quite some time on the internet. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features some of the biggest names in the film industry. Kiara Advani has been roped in to play the lead opposite Yash, while Huma Qureshi will be the villain.
On the other hand, actresses like Shruti Haasan, Tara Sutaria will also be a part of the film. Also, while earlier reports suggested that Kareena Kapoor had opted out of Toxic due to date clashes with her existing projects, it was Nayanthara who stepped up for the role in her place.
