Venom: The Last Dance marks the end of the Venom trilogy as well as the end of Tom Hardy’s character of Eddie Brock. However, the Marvel film, like the other films, has a post-credits scene, leaving fans wondering if Hardy will be returning to the MCU soon.
It shouldn’t be a surprise to audiences that the franchise is returning with another film, as the story of the latest release focuses on building up future possibilities rather than developing Brock’s character as Venom.
Additionally, the addition of actors like Juno Temple stepping into the Marvel world, albeit replacing the previous leading lady, still gives fans hope that the story won’t be over just yet.
As the climax of the film approaches, fans are treated to intense battle scenes between Brock/Venom and the Xenophage, a creature sent by Knull to retrieve the Codex. After a series of explosions and other significant fight moments, Brock is seen settling in Manhattan, reminiscing about his good days with Venom.
Apart from the post-credits scene, a mid-credits scene also keeps the audience engaged with the further story, if the makers plan to move forward with the franchise without the hero. By midcredits, Knull looks directly into the camera for the first time and claims that Venom’s defeat has freed him from imprisonment.
In the scene, Knull says, “Your champion has fallen. Your planets will be mine. The black king is awake. I will end your world. Everyone will burn, and you will watch.”

According to fan theories, Knoll could be The Last Dance’s biggest baddie, but with things set for the future, uncertainty remains. However, the creators also haven’t completely squashed those theories, leaving fans to wonder whether the Marvel/Sony creation might be in the works again soon.
Meanwhile, Venom: The Last Dance is directed by Kelly Marcel, and as for the plot, the synopsis of the film reads, “Eddie Brock and Venom must make a devastating decision as a mysterious military man pursues them. ” This film is available to watch in theatres.
