Now finally, a close source has told Page Six that King Charles might invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Balmoral Castle.
Over the years, Balmoral has been seen as a beautiful place to mend broken relationships. Every year, members of the royal family visit the Scottish countryside to spend some time with their family members such as the Prince and Princess of Wales. This time, Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle might be invited to it as King Charles III is desperate to meet his grandchildren.
King Charles anxious to meet Archie and Lilibet
An insider revealed, “I can see Charles desperate to see the children and want to make this peace offering to Meghan and Harry. He may decide life is too short.” The source added, “Balmoral is actually the perfect, cozy place for a reunion. If he issues an invitation, Harry and Meghan will definitely agree to the trip.”
Harry and Meghan’s children, Archie and Lilibet, have not had any kind of relationship with the royal family since Harry and Meghan decided to step down from their royal duties after Archie’s birth on May 6, 2019. Their failure was known by everyone as ‘Megxit’. They settled in the U.K. Both Archie and Lilibet have U.S. and U.K. citizenship.
Lilibet is named after the childhood name of Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton have been trying to mend the relationship between the royal family and the Sussexes. According to the Daily Mail, the Prince and Princess of Wales asked Harry and Meghan to bring the children to Britain and meet and mingle with the royal family. However, Meghan turned it down.
