Thalapathy Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay is going to make his directorial debut this year with the film Sigma. Now, it appears that the budding actor has decided to remove his father’s name from the credits of his upcoming film and adopt his mother Sangeetha Sornalingam’s name instead.

According to multiple reports, including one shared by News18, Thalapathy VijayIt seems that his son Jason Sanjay has removed his father’s name from the credits of his film Sigma. Reportedly, Jason has used the name “Jason Sanjay S”. In the film, he used his mother’s name, Sangeeta, as the first initial instead of his father Vijay’s name.
Though it is unconfirmed, the budding director has unfollowed his father on Instagram. All this has happened amid the superstar’s alleged divorce from his wife.

Thalapathy Vijay and his wife Sangeetha Sornalingam Married on 25 August 1999. Married for almost 27 years, the couple are parents to two children, Jason Sanjay and Divya Sasha.
Recently the couple came into limelight when news surfaced that they were going for divorce. An initial petition reportedly filed by Sangeeta alleged that Vijay had an affair with an actress and later abandoned her and their children. The 51-year-old woman also claimed that the alleged affair caused her emotional distress.
Later, Sangeeta reportedly filed another petition seeking residential rights in her matrimonial home. While the divorce news was making headlines, Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan were seen arriving together at a wedding, leading many to speculate about their relationship.
Furthermore, in a recent paparazzi video, Trisha Krishnan was seen arriving at an airport, where she was asked about her presence with Vijay, but she avoided answering.
