SZA indicates one of them in a possible sequel, and that too without KK Palmer. Rapper recently made an appearance in the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show, where he spoke about the creative team working on a follow -up story for his 2025 film.
While SZA is excited to return to the screen with Alyssa’s vengeance to her character, she is not sure whether Palmer Drakes will have to return to her role.
During his conversation with the talk show Host, the composer jokingly said, “KK hired me. He will be.” But she is full of energy. I will be very honored to join anything that he had done again. I will really try to know what is at stake; people will be watching, and I can play in it. “
Meanwhile, the R-Retid Comedy-Romance revolves around two roommates, who run against time to get money together after ELISA’s boyfriend.
For the plot of the film, the official synopsis wrote, “When her lover takes his rented money, Alyssa and her roommate race races to escape eviction against the clock and to maintain their friendship.”
After releasing in theaters on 17 January, the film did a good job at the box office and marked the beginning of SZA’s acting.
For his cooperation with Palmer, the pair first stepped together to host Live in 2022 on Saturday night.
Apart from composer and Palmer, the film also includes Maud Apato, Patrick Cage II, and Cat Williams. The film is written by Syretta Singleton and the director’s chair was taken by Lawrence Lamont.
