As is known to everyone by now, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are all set to face each other in the much-awaited Bollywood film War 2. As per the latest update, the Ayan Mukerji directorial will feature an action sequence between the two stars – a face-to-face combat scene.
According to a recent interview with Vikatan, stunt choreographer turned director Anal Arasu is set to coordinate the climax fight scene between Hrithik and Jr NTR. The choreographer previously worked on Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawaan and is a prominent face in Tamil cinema.

Stunt choreographer Anal Arasu was caught in an interview for his directorial debut film Phoenix, which stars Vijay Sethupathi’s son Surya in the lead role. In the interview, while he was talking about his new ventures, the stunt master revealed how he was approached for a fight scene between Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan in War 2.
The film War 2 is a sequel to the 2019 film War, directed by Siddharth Anand. The action-thriller film follows Kabir Dhaliwal, a highly capable Indian RAW agent who apparently turns rogue.
Since he is skilled in his profession, Kabir’s former disciple Khalid Rehmani is assigned the task of bringing him in. The rest of the film shows how Khalid tries to catch him, while Kabir’s real intentions are revealed.
The upcoming sequel film takes this story forward and also wraps up the events of other YRF franchise spy films like Pathan and Tiger 3. The latter film also had a post-credit scene with Hrithik’s cameo, highlighting the storm that is about to make its way. Moreover, it also marks Jr NTR’s debut in a straight Hindi film and the spy cinematic world.

Apart from playing the main antagonist in Hrithik Roshan’s War 2, Jr NTR is set to play the lead role in Koratala Siva’s Devraa: Part 1. The upcoming film also features Janhvi Kapoor making her debut in Telugu cinema.
Moreover, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan as the main antagonist, with Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narayan and many other actors in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit the screens on September 27, 2024.
