Heartstopper was renewed for two sessions after its premiere in 2022. Netflix came with big news after a month when the first season was released. However, now when it has passed five months before the fall of season 3, no further plan has been shared by Netflix about the future of the series.
Meanwhile, Streammer released its half-year, which we saw the audience’s data report, which takes a detailed look at how its outings have performed in recent times.
According to a deadline report, Hartstopper’s third season was viewed 10.9 million times from the end of October 3 by the end of 2024. This helped to rank #130 in all Netflix programs from June to December last year, the outlet suggested as per the report.
For those who do not know, the show also spent two weeks in Netflix’s global top 10, put on #4. Talking about its second season, it was released on August 3, 2023, and was seen 16.5 million times in the second half of that year. This was still when the series ranked #59 on Netflix’s July to December 2023 report, which was located in #2 in the weekly top 10.
Meanwhile, season 3 of the series starring Kit Connor and Joe Loke saw about 11.6 million times for the same period after its release. While the report states that it is neither great nor the worst, in the last six months period of the year 2024, there are combined 8.8 million more views in the first two sessions of the series.
Calling the figures in some respectable numbers, the outlet suggested that the heartstopper would be renewed for season 4.
