Filmmaker Srikanth Odela has two important projects, one of which is Nani’s The Paradise, followed by Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Mega156. Both of them have attracted a lot of attention since their announcement. And now, the producer has revealed some important updates about the films.
In a recent interview, producer Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas made a surprising revelation about Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film directed by Srikanth Odela. He dismissed rumors about the film having no heroine or songs, and said that in fact, the project would be a period action film.
He further added that even Nani’s next collaboration with the director will be a period drama.
Sudhakar also revealed that the story of Mega 156 is currently in the development stage and the DOP and music director have also been finalized for it.
He said, “Mega 156 is a period film. Not only this, The Paradise is also based on the background of the period. There is no truth in what is going on on social media. We locked the DOP and music director. Currently, the story is in the development stage.
On 3 December, it was announced that Chiranjeevi has joined hands with director Dussehra for his next film. It is believed that Srikanth Odela will have to finish his project with Nani before taking the next step with Chiranjeevi.
Nani made the first official post about the collaboration on her Instagram account. He shared a stunning poster of the upcoming film and wrote a special note.
While sharing the post, Nani had written, “I have grown up inspired by him.” I stood in lines for hours every time. I lost my bicycle. I convinced him. Now let me present it. It is a complete circle. Unleashing the megastar madness we’ve been waiting for.”
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is in news for one of his other projects in the pipeline, Vishwambhara. The fantasy action film is directed by Mallidi Vashishtha and bankrolled by UV Creations.
Apart from the megastar, it stars Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, Meenakshi Choudhary, Ashika Ranganath and others in lead roles.
