Following Hoda Kotb’s exit on January 10, Jenna Bush Hager has resumed her solo hosting duties on the show Jenna & Friends. The talk show host revealed that she believes in her “dating era”.
Bush Hager stepped in to take Kobott’s seat for the first time in the morning segment, and while on air he revealed that he was full of heart but also a little nervous.
During his mirror pep talk before stepping onto the set, Bush Hager was heard saying, “Okay, JBH, it’s a new show. It’s a new era. You got this! My mind is clear, And my heart is full. I haven’t been this nervous since that Texas production of Les Mis.”
As the heated exchange was going on, Taraji P. Henson knocked on the host’s dressing room door and reassured him, “Relax, you got this! I got you!”

Henson and Hager then began the broadcast and Hager told the media personality, “I’m so happy to be here with you, though.” The lawyer further added, “Because this is a great opportunity. Human beings need human beings and let us move forward and bring happiness to the world. We cannot all live in darkness.”
“I haven’t dated, and this is like my dating era, and you’re my first date,” Bush Hager told her co-host.
Meanwhile, Kotb left the Today Show on January 10 after 17 years. It has been an emotional moment for the cast and crew, as they were close to the journalist over the years. He wrote a letter to NBC in September announcing his exit. The 60-year-old woman claimed that she needs to focus her attention on her children and family.
