SU from SU is a Kannada-language film, which stars Shanel Gautham and JP Theanad starring. The horror comedy drama is currently available for streaming on the OTT platform jiohotstar.
However, the streaming platform has provided dubbed versions only in Telugu and Malayalam, while the Tamil version is particularly missing. Although not confirmed, there may be a specific reason for this.
Is SU remake in Tamil?
According to the ongoing discussion at the Kollywood Cinema Circle, SU has been sold to a Tamil manufacturer from SO’s Tamil remake rights. This possibility explains the absence of a dubbed version on the OTT platform. However, an official confirmation is yet to come.

The SU has been set against the backdrop of a coastal village in Karnataka. The story examines Ashoka’s life, who is a young man, who develops a crush on a girl from his village. However, due to a series of misunderstandings, he is rumored to be near Sulochan from Someshwar village.
As the rumor spreads around the village like a wildfire, many chaotic moments still come up, the villagers tried their best to drive away the soul.
Directed by JP Theuminad, SU from SU has introduced himself with actors such as Shanell Gautham, Sandhya Arkere, Prakash Thumanad, Deepak Rai Panje, Mime Ramdas, and much more. Raj B. Shetty also plays a cameo appearance in addition to bankering the cinematic venture.
The music tracks of the film were composed by Sumade, while the background score was prepared by Sushin Shyam’s colleague Sandeep Thulsidas. S Chandrasekaran handled the cinematography, and Nithin Shetty served as the editor.
Looking forward, Raj B. Shetty will appear in the upcoming film 45 along with Shiv Rajkumar and Upendra Rao.
Kannada is also part of actor Bobby Deol’s monkey, directed by Anurag Kashyap. The film follows the story of Summer, which is an aging television star, whose life turns upside down when his former returns to his life, while a corrupt system is firm to keep him in jail.
Apart from Deol and Raj, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Indrajit Sukumaran, Jujee George and in the lead roles.
