During the promotional phase of Kalki 2898 AD, megastar Amitabh Bachchan has teased Prabhas a lot. Known to be an introvert, Prabhas’ reaction to Big B’s gesture has taken the internet by storm.
In a recent interview released by the makers, the star cast of Kalki 2898 AD spoke about the film. During this discussion, Senior Bachchan couldn’t stop himself from talking about Prabhas’ stature, which once again led to an incredible moment.
Why is Amitabh Bachchan apologizing to Prabhas fans?
Talking about how Nag Ashwin convinced him to be a part of Kalki 2898 AD, the Bollywood veteran revealed how the director had initially shown him some concept sketches of his character in the film.
He said, “He showed me what my character would be like and what Prabhas’s character would be like.”
“I was a huge guy, pushing Prabhas,” Mr Bachchan said, putting a lot of emphasis on the word ‘Prabhas’.
As soon as these words came out of the actor’s mouth, there were smiles and laughter in the room and Prabhas responded in a funny way, “Sir…”
Big B then addressed Prabhas’ fans while looking at the camera and said, “I am folding my hands to apologize (in Hindi). I request all Prabhas fans to not massacre me after watching what I do to him in the movie.”
Prabhas instantly replied, “Sir, they are all your fans first sir…”

How did Kamal Haasan agree with Nag Ashwin’s idea?
Reacting to senior Bachchan’s point about the concept sketch, Kamal Haasan said that concept sketches can be deceiving sometimes. And so, he further explained how the director convinced him to be a part of the film.
“So, I asked him (Nag Ashwin) that what is on paper is fine, how are you going to bring it to life? Then he showed me your (Amitabh Bachchan’s) footage. So, I kept quiet. I just became a part of the project,” Haasan said.
