Addressing concerns about the increasing number of heart attacks among young people, the famous cardiac surgeon Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty said that regular health monitoring can help reduce these incidents.

In order to test people at the Bt Mindrash 2025 event, he said, “No one dies from a sudden heart arrest with a normal heart. There is always an underlying issue that remains uncontrolled,” he said at the Bt Mindrush 2025 event, urged people to test.

Narayan Health President Dr. Shetty said, “People had always suffered a heart attack, but many people do not realize that feeling fit is not always healthy. The only way to save yourself is to know your numbers- blood pressure, cholesterol, kidney function and heart health,” Dr. Shetty, Narayan Health said.

Pointing to data on athletes, he said, “If you are Google FIFA and ‘cardiac arrest’, you will find reports that 617 footballers have suffered cardiac arrest in the last four years during practice sessions. The real number is ten times more likely.”

Dr. Shetty advocated a routine heart health test such as ECG, Echocardiogram and CT Angiogram, which takes less than 30 minutes but can detect hidden heart diseases.

‘India to lead in cheap healthcare’

Dr. According to Shetty, India is the first country to separate healthcare from wealth. In fact, he said that in the next 5–10 years, quality healthcare in India will not depend on financial status.

He said, “The property of the nation or family has nothing to do with the quality of healthcare. It is going to happen,” he said.

Dr. Shetty highlighted India’s success in cataract surgery how entrepreneurs can make healthcare treatment accessible. He said that while the US performs 3.5 million cataract surgery annually and China crosses both with about 3.2 million, India with 8.5 million surgery.

He said, “India combines more than most people in the US, China and Europe. It is only due to the entrepreneurship of doctors,” he explained, widely available, credited personal initiative to perform surgery.

Take 10,000 steps per day

Diet and exercise play an important role in overall health. He said, “You are what you eat. Monitoring food intake is the best way to stay healthy. Unfortunately, not very disciplined to exercise,” he said.

He recommended at least 10,000 steps daily for better heart, kidney, liver and brain health.

“People who walk 10,000 steps a day live longer. Even simple habits like wearing earphones and walking on the phone can also add 2,000 steps a day,” he suggested. However, he warned against excessive cardio workouts, continuously, long -term exercise advocated instead of routine.

Obesity and weight loss solution

Dr. Shetty recognized obesity as a major health concern and urged people to prioritize diet and exercise before considering medical intervention.

“Everyone wants to lose weight, but the first step is a proper diet and exercise. Only when everything fails, people should consider weight loss drugs, and yet, under medical supervision, under medical supervision,” he advised. “

He acknowledged the effectiveness of weight loss drugs for people with severe obese. “These drugs are really magical and give amazing results when determined correctly,” he said.

Dr. Shetty concluded the importance of a balanced approach to health and concluded- regular medical check-up, mindful eating, exercise and even spirituality. “More than something else, be spiritual,” he said.
