Actor Shah Rukh Khan has been avoiding the media and paparazzi since 2021. One of the paparazzo revealed the reason behind the actor dodging cameras, hiding under umbrellas and not posing at events.

Despite making some rare appearances, he stays away from the limelight. Recently, a paparazzo revealed that Shah Rukh is upset with the media for their coverage of his son Aryan Khan’s arrest, which is why he constantly avoids the paparazzi.

Mumbai-based journalist Varinder Chawla revealed that Shah Rukh Khan is ‘annoyed’ with the media, and that is why he constantly avoids journalists.

“When Pathan released in 2023, my team saw Shah Rukh Khan and he sent it to me. But, I didn’t like it as it felt like we were invading his privacy. And Shah Rukh seemed upset. I then called the actor’s PR, told him about the video recorded by my team and told him I won’t use it. And apologised to him on behalf of my team for invading his privacy,” he told Hindi Rush.

“You won’t believe me, soon after my call, I got a call from Shah Rukh’s manager, who first thanked me and then told me that Shah Rukh wants to talk to me. I was in shock. From running behind his car to get a glimpse of him to getting his call, it all felt so unreal. I said, ‘Anytime’. We spoke for more than five minutes. After talking to him, I realised his love for his kids, his son Aryan Khan. I also have kids, I would also feel hurt if people spoke bad and negative things about my kids. He was so sad and upset at that time, we didn’t care about it. We just kept complaining that Shah Rukh doesn’t give us pictures and always hides his face. He is angry with the media for what they did to his son,” the paparazzo said.

Shah Rukh’s son Aryan was arrested in the Mumbai cruise drugs case in early October 2021. It took several court hearings and almost four weeks for Aryan Khan to get bail. Eight months later, the Narcotics Control Bureau gave him a clean chit in the drugs case.
