Whoopi Goldberg aimed her words towards Zachary Levi, following his comments on Hollywood being completely liberal. While Levy has been voicing his support for Donald Trump at the current presidential election rallies, Goldberg believes that his statements lack authenticity and logic.
As Levy’s clip played on The View’s podcast on Tuesday, he was heard saying, “Hollywood is a very liberal town,” and that his endorsement from the previous president “very well constitutes career suicide.”
Meanwhile, giving a befitting reply to the actor, Goldberg claimed that Levi’s statements were not necessarily true. He said that from the beginning, Hollywood has welcomed a mixed group of people without classifying them based on their political views.
He further explained, “From the beginning of Hollywood, it’s always been a very right-leaning town, but I know you don’t know much about the history of Hollywood, so let me teach you.”
The Sister Act star revealed that “We’re a mixed group,” and a lot of people don’t go along with that statement because they’re Republicans. The Hollywood star further cited the examples of Dennis Quaid and Jon Voight, who have been working in the industry for years and are lending their support to Republicans.

Goldberg also mentioned Chappelle Roan in the conversation and said he drew a lot of criticism from the left over his comments on problems on both sides of the government.
On the other hand, Joy Behar, who has been one of the Observer panelists, said of Roan, “It’s faint praise, and I feel like she’s part of the LGBTQ community, and she should know that the other side is transgender. They are anti-gay rights.
He added, “God forbid, if he gets into office he’ll probably roll back gay marriage. I mean, he needs to know that.”
“I grew up in my family that was Christian conservative, pretty much in the same lane that we were in. My parents were Kennedy Democrats who switched to Reagan Republicans,” Levy said of supporting Trump in the upcoming elections. , and they taught me to have a healthy level of distrust of the government and a healthy level of distrust of an industry that runs unchecked.”
Zachary Levi has also been in the news recently for his criticism of vaccinations and other vaccine manufacturers.
