Crystal McCini made headlines after accusing both Sean Didi Comombs and Harvey Venstein of S*Xual Assault. Makkini first filed a case against Comombs in May 2024, alleging that she drugs and assaulted her. A few weeks later, his name came out again in a revised complaint filed on May 30, 2025, this time Venstein was accused in an incident on the charge of R*PE which was allegedly taken in 2003.
The case against Venstein is not related to the trial against Comombs, but both cases have drew attention to McKini’s story.
According to the court documents received by the people, Makkini said he was invited to a meeting with Venstein by an anonymous executive from an modeling agency. She went to a West Village Lounge with her friend and roommate, expected to discuss possible acting roles.
Who is Crystal Makkini and what is she alleging?
Crystal McCini claims that Venstain arrived at the lounge, spoke to him briefly, and then suggested to take the meeting to a quiet place because the lounge was very loud and crowded. She alleges that she took her to a manhattan hotel room, where she ordered several bottles of Bullewardier and Dome Periganan and Vodka Cocktail.
Once inside, Makkini said that things increased quickly. She alleges that Venstein hit her and tore her tank to the top, causing him to go to the bathroom. According to the trial, his friend joined him there, but Venstein allegedly stopped him and asked him to strip and bathe with him.
Makkini said he felt that “he is supported in a corner and fear that he will retaliate against him if he denies his S*Xual advances.” The complaint claims that Venstein had asked two women to engage in S*XUL acts with each other in the bathtub. Then he pulled them to bed and allegedly R*both R*.
After the incident, Makkini said Venstein suddenly got out of the hotel room. He also said that his assistant later called. When Makkini informed the assistant of what happened, she was asked to leave the hotel room immediately instead of getting help.
Makkini says that the alleged attack caused long -term trauma. The complaint gave details of emotional and mental tolls, which include “depression, anxiety, anger, self-dosh, suicide thoughts, the issue of body image and demonetisation.”
Harvey Venstein, who was convicted for allegations of separate R*PE in 2020, overturned his sentence in April 2024 due to trial irregularities. He is currently in custody in Ricors Island after being convicted in California in 2022.
While Venstein is waiting for a retric in New York, Didi is also facing serious legal troubles. He has been accused of S*X Trafficking and Racketting. Comombs has requested not to be guilty.
