US President Donald Trump has appointed Alina Habba for his long time, as an interim lawyer for the New Jersey district, immediately effective.
Ms. Habba, who currently serves as a consultant for the President, replaced John Giordano, who was nominated by Trump as an American Ambassador to Namibia.
Trump announced the decision on the truth social, calling it “very happy” to appoint Ms. Habba for the role in his home state. Ms. Habba replied on X, saying that she is “respected” and “to end the weapon of justice”.
Who is Alina Habba?
- Alina Habba of Iraqi dynasty was born in New Jersey. He was recently named “Cheldian Woman of the Year” for his achievements in law and politics.
- Alina Habba graduated from Kent Place School in 2002. He attended Leh University and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2005. After graduating from the university, Ms. Habba worked in the fashion industry at Mark Jacobs, one of the top brands in the US. She returned to college after several years and earned a law degree from the University of Winner in Pennsylvania in 2010.
- He briefly worked as a clerk for the New Jersey Superior Court Judge Eugene Kodi Junior. Later, he entered private practice and worked for several years before starting his own law firm in 2020.
- In 2021, she joined Donald Trump’s legal team after allegedly met her at her Bedminster Country Club in New Jersey, where her firm was based. Alina Habba defended Trump in several legal battles, including the Summer Zervos case (a former trainee contestant who accused Trump of sexual assault), his $ 100 million suit against the New York Times and Mary Trump (his niece, tax revelations), and where he was found guilty for property values).
- He served as one of Trump’s defense defense lawyers in the New York Hash-Mani case, where he was convicted in 34 allegations for impressing the 2016 election through a Hash-Mani payment to a porn actress, who became the first US President to be convicted by the jury.
