Yash is one actor who has completely justified the tag of being a pan-India heartthrob. Known for his extremely humble nature, Yash once made some critical comments about Bollywood leads Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the context of their performances on screen.
In one of his old 2018 interviews with ETV Bharat Films & TV, Yash made some interesting comments about his two staunch colleagues, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor. Talking about Ranveer, Yash revealed how he never liked his films until the actor gave blockbuster successes with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Yash said, “Ranveer Singh, I never liked his work initially, but I don’t know how he looks so good. His film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bajirao Mastani – that’s when I started liking him. And he’s fantastic.” He is absolutely amazing in Padmaavat.”
Moving on, Yash also talked about Ranbir Kapoor and shared that he had watched Ranbir’s film Sanju apart from his other projects. However, he did not forget to express that he finds the Barfi actor distracting.
The KGF actor said, “Ranbir Kapoor, I saw him in Sanju. I saw a lot of his work; He was very good. I don’t know; For some time now I felt he was a bit distracted, but he was very good in Sanju.
Yash also revealed about the actors he admires in Bollywood. He started with veteran stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan and tagged them as his all-time favourites.
Over the years, Yash has tried to maintain cordial relations with many Bollywood stars.
On the work front, Yash is gearing up for his next releases, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups and Ramayan.
