Even after decades of rule over the Hindi film industry, Sunil Shetty remains in the list of the most sought -by -demand actors in Bollywood. During a conversation with Radio Nasha, Sunil Shetty talked about two of his films, Faula and Arzu, which never saw daylight. The experienced actor said that despite making a film for 60–65 days for Arzu, the film did not become due to a decline between director and producers. In addition, Foul director David Dhawan was concerned about his newcomer image and therefore, the project was released.
However, when Balwan was released in 1992, a critic said that even though his film was successful, he was a bad actor. After returning on time, the border star recalled, “A furnace bed critic NE, perhaps a looted critic. He was the USN Kah’s Ischi film Toh Chali Gai but this Baht is a trillion actor.
Criticizing his acting, his walking and his harsh body, the critic said, “I want to sell your shop Meen Idli-Vada (they should sell idli-wada in their restaurants).” But this comment did not give up a negative impact on the Hera Furry actor as South Indian cuisine gave livelihood to his family and educated him and his sisters.
In the same interview, Shetty talked about his pawn co-star Akshay Kumar and recalled him to meet him for the first time. The actor-producer said that Khili Kumar reminded him of his late cousin. So, during one of his shoots, Shetty told Kumar, “It’s scary that I have to sit and work with you every day because whenever I see you, I will miss him.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sunil and Akshay will be seen together next time in the welcome to the forest, followed by Hera Ferri 3.
