When Sonakshi Sinha went out of the house, she told her mother Poonam, “Maa, don’t worry”
Halfway through the year, it’s fair to say that Sonakshi Sinha’s private wedding with Zaheer Iqbal was the most spectacular Bollywood wedding ever. Her private wedding not only showcased brilliantly simple bridal fashion but also highlighted the relationships that a bride shares. While we have seen their heartwarming bond, her latest post on Instagram shows her sweet bond with her mother Poonam Sinha. In the series of photos, Sonakshi was seen hugging her mother Poonam and hugging her father Shatrughan Sinha tightly, while also revealing that their absence in her family home after marriage was really felt on the wedding day; a feeling that will resonate with every new bride. In the caption, Sonakshi wrote, “At the wedding, when mom found out that I was leaving the house, she started crying. I told her, “Maa, don’t worry… Juhu to Bandra is just 25 mins away.” Missing her a little more today, so that’s what I’m telling myself. Hopefully there’s a Sunday Sindhi curry at home… See you soon… Zoom Zoom Zoom.”

After their wedding in June 2024, the couple shared their wedding video on Instagram, in which they were seen signing their marriage registration, garlanding each other and being cheered on by their friends and family members. “Family, friends, love, friendship, laughter, silly comments, kids running around, tears of joy, warm hugs, excitement, mistakes, screams, fun, happiness, anticipation, nervousness, emotions and most of all just pure joy, it was our chaotic little wedding home… and it was perfect… it was us,” is what they wrote in the caption.
