When Kamal Haasan revealed Christopher Nolan’s Tamil connection
Famous South star Kamal Haasan once met Christopher Nolan and the two discussed films. Later, Haasan shared an interesting anecdote about their meeting.

South star Kamal Haasan once met famous Hollywood director Christopher Nolan. The two discussed films and during the conversation, Haasan came to know that Nolan had seen his film Papanasam. This film was a remake of the Malayalam film Drishyam, which starred Mohanlal in the lead role.
Haasan also shared a photo of the two having a conversation over dinner. He captioned the photo, “Met Mr Christopher Nolan. Apologised for making him watch Dunkirk in digital format and in return I am sending him Hey Ram in digital format to watch. Surprised to know that he has watched Papanasam.”

The two met when Nolan visited India to attend Reframing the Future of Film, a three-day film event organised by the Film Heritage Foundation. Nolan’s films Interstellar and Dunkirk were screened during the event.
On the work front, Kamal Haasan is currently awaiting the release of his action film Indian 2, which also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh and Siddharth.
Directed by Shankar, Indian 2 will release in theatres on July 12.
